Indian Potatoes


1 onion, chopped
1/4c vegetable oil
1 lb potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 tsp salt
1/2tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp tumeric
1/4tsp cumin
2 tomatoes, chopped

Lightly brown onion in oil in a medium size skillet. Stir in salt, cayenne, tumeric and cumin.  Add potatoes and cook 10min stirring often, add tomatoes, cover and cook until potatoes are done, about 10 more.
