Hawaiian Chicken


2-3 lb. cut up chicken fryer
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. ginger
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Brown chicken in oil. Pour off fat. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, ginger and pineapple. Simmer covered until tender for approximately 1 hour. Also great in the crock pot on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
