Chocolate Cherry Cake


1 pkg chocolate cake mix
2 eggs, beaten
1t almond extract
21oz can cherry pie filling

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with a spoon. Pour into a greased 13x9 pan. Bake 350 for 30-35min. Remove from oven and cool 10 min, then frost while still warm.

Frosting:

5T butter
1cup brown sugar
1/3 cup milk
1cup chocolate chips

In a pan bring to boil the butter, brown sugar and milk for 1 min. Add the chocolate chips, stir to melt and make smooth. Spread onto warm cake. Let cool completely.
