Black Bean Burger

16oz black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2c onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, peeled
1 egg
1T chili pwd
1T cumin
1tsp hot sauce
1/2cup bread crumbs

preheat oven to 375 and light oil a baking sheet
in a medium bowl mash black beans with a fork until pasty
in a food processor-finely chop pepper, onion and garlic. then stir into mashed beans. in a small bowl mix the egg, chili pwd, cumin and hot sauce. stir the egg mixture into the mashed beans. mix in bread crumbs until sticky and holds together. divide into four patties. place on baking sheet and bake for 10min per side.
